Mileage and Fuel Economy
Mileage and Fuel Economy
Maybe this should go in as a poll, but I'm wondering if there are any high mileage Crossfires out there (and have there been any reliability issues) and what are you experiencing for fuel economy.
I only drive my '05 for 6-7 months a year and have a tad under 21k in two seasons. No problems at all other than the recall on the fan. I generally drive highway and at 70-75 get 25-26mpg. It drops a bit, but not a lot, when I hit the go fast button. When I keep it in the 55-65 mph range I get 29-30mpg.

Re: Mileage and Fuel Economy
I just finished testing my mileage with different octane fuels.
Using California winter-blend Premium gas, I average 25 mpg with both city and hwy driving.
Using California winter-blend 87 crap gas, I averaged 20-21 mpg also city and hwy driving. Not bad IMO but the retarded timing takes a bit of the pop out of the motor.
