70 degrees today??? maybe!!!
The weather is going to be wonderful this afternoon so I think I'll pop the top and cruise this afternoon. I just got the Pioneer iPod adapter, so I need to find a spot to hide that under the dash and figure out where to put the iPod... and wire it up!
Whoo-Ahhh!!!
Whoo-Ahhh!!!
75-80 for the last week here in arkansas!! my top hasn't been up all week!!! as far as the ipod adapter, mine fit like a glove under the passenger side floormat, mine is kenwood, but the size should be similar!!! love the ipod interface.

It took me about 20 minutes to connect the iPod adapter (mounted behind the floor well on the passenger side) and get the thing running. It was cool setting it on random and getting surprised every time a new song started.
Too bad it's just a 1 GB Nano - Me thinks I see an 80 Gigger in my near future!!!
Had a nice ride - top down and t shirt weather!

1gb is a little small. I have a 2gb. and I've had mine since before they came available to the public (Circuit City connections). but anyway. It says my 2gb can hold 500 songs. But i'm maxed out at 379. i don't know if my songs are bigger then normal or what. But i seen in the paper they have a 8 gb nano out. The nanos are way better then those huge 80gb.
I got the 1GB Nano for free, so I'm not complaining. However, since I'd been putting off buying one, and seeing how easy they are to use, I can see putting a shnitzload of songs on an 80 GB and never having to play a CD again...
I see Pioneer now has an adapter that will let you hook up USB flash drives and play them straight through the radio. That might be as cool option, too.

I use a Griffin idrive in the cars. It is ok, but direct connect would be better.
I love my iPod, but i listen to it for 8 hours at work, then 2 hours a day at the gym. So it makes it hard to keep the songs fresh. So i think it would be even worse in my car. Also if i ever hooked my iPod up it would have to be a super sleek look. and be able to control it from the headunit. Because if a song comes one i don't want to hear i want to be able to change it without reaching over and touching the iPod.
The Pioneer operates through the (Pioneer) head unit. The control box connects with a cable and I hid it behind the floorboards on the passenger side. I have the iPod in the Glove compartment, pending a better spot to put it. Nothing in view - operates totally from the Pioneer.
