Default How often do you drive your Crossfire ?

I assume most if not all of you take as good care of your x-fires as I do. Though its a 2005, it only has 150 miles on it, therefore still so called perfect, I have it all waxed and detailed and thought I am car crazy I find myself not wanting to drive it that much yet because its so darn nice!

~ i know that feeling... i sometimes wash & wax my car... and do the same after all my efforts.

mine is spotless in the garage as we speak... its been there for 5 days now...

but i do drive it... 3.5 years old... 33,000 miles.

most know me as ... 'mr. clean' ...

As beautiful as the Crossfire is to look at and admire, the real joy of this car is behind the wheel on the open road.

As for me, mine's a daily driver. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Andrew,

Yes I have seen the pics of your car, you are car crazy too, your crossfire looks like its brand new. Keep up the good work. Sometimes its fun to just detail it, it has such beautiful lines.

I don't drive mine during the winter, but in the summer it's a daily driver. I agree with midnight, it's just to much fun to drive to just let it sit in the garage. However, if it's raining and one of the other cars is available, I'll keep it in the garage nice and clean.

My car spends more time in the garage than on the road. Only drive it on nice clear days, it has only seen rain on the day I got it new from the dealer. It sat for nearly 3 months this winter...Michigan winters are awful... (road salt, potholes and bad drivers...)

Just about 2 years now and about 11,500 miles. I drive it just about everyday.
Luckily for me I only work about 4 miles from home.

Mine are daily drivers. They get washed several times a week, or at least wiped down except for the PITA rims, which are once a week. It hasn't rained much lately so they stay looking pretty good. Both have about 12,000 miles. I almost always put the top down when I leave the office.

PS Where is Topless in Florida (Sharon) been hiding?

Mine is a DD too. I kinda hate it in a way, but at the same time, you really can't enjoy a car by looking at it in the garage and driving it every now and then. I always wash and wax any car I have every week so its always looking good. I bought this one last monday, already put a little over 1,000 miles on it.

DEFINITELY a daily driver kind of thing...I get grumpy without my daily dose of adrenaline.

Mine is driven two hours every day Monday - Friday. And on the weekends whenever I'm out and about. It's an '05 SRT6 and has 31,000+ miles on it.

Mine is mostly a weekend ride. It is so much fun to drive, I can't wait until the next time. The thrill never seems to fade. I can't ever remember, since my teen years, having such a fine machine that I just want to drive, even if I have no where to go.

I drive mine every chance I get.

I come up with excuses to drive it.

I've got a good 'ol '96 Jeep Cherokee I pull out when the weather is cruddy or I have to park on a rough neighborhood. 158 thousand and she's still going strong ! Probably will last another ten years now that I have the Crossfire. I love that little old Jeep but it's like driving a coal truck compared to the Crossfire.

I find myself plotting new ways to get from point "A" to "B" on the curvy little park and country roads instead of the main roads.

Happy Trails,

Slim

Only on dry, sunny days. It was delivered on 01/03/2007 w/ 3,450 miles. It has ~ 3,600 on it now. Driven it to work twice (~ 12 miles round trip), to Blockbuster once (~ 16 miles round trip), and on a few 20-30 minute jaunts.
MI weather doesn't allow me much more than that. Hopefully summer will be better.
So I guess 150 miles in 3 months. Don't plan on putting more than 1,000 - 1,500 miles/year on it.
