Default Illuminated Wind Screen

Just received my illuminated wind screen from King Penn...make no mistake, this is a work of art and I'm so excited to have it installed.

Question:

Should I go with the brake option where the illumination comes on when I bake only...or go with the toggle switch that gives me more control over having it on when I want or off when I want...

Any chance I could have both? I'm totally mechanically challenged so if I could have both options, please detail the how..if it's not too much trouble...my husband will be the mechanic..but I'll do a lot of overseeing...ha...well, probably not...

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions...
GG

you say you have a sprint booster, what does this do, how much is it, and is it hard to install?

If you put the toggle switch in parallel with the break switch you will have both options.

There is a thread on the sprint booster with hundreds of comments. It boosts your acceleration, and I love it. That's all I can tell you. But the experts on here will be able to detail the effects and all that...

Any chance that's something easy to do? I know...the blonde in me comes out when it comes to mechanical stuff...

Hook straight into your brake lamps and product will come on only when brakes are applied...

Hook into your running lights for product to work only when headlights are on or running lamps.

Anyone in DALLAS TX that you guys know of that is interested in our product please let me know. We need someone for some prototyping...

Or hook into your dome light circuit and have it come on when either door is opened...

Installed my windscreen today, looks great, excellent quality. Can't wait for it to get dark outside. I didn't hook up my switch yet. Those of you that have the switch, where did you mount/hide it?

Mine has enough slack I keep it in the pouch, but I'm having it mounted by the guy doing my leather trim.
I assumed your original screws worked.

Yes they did, but barely. They are still sending me 2 longer screws and I would feel better using them. Where are you going to mount your switch?

I haven't decided, but I'm leaning to install it on the screen, using the mounting screws to fasten it. The trim guy told me he would figure something out for me. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm still waiting for my hide to come in.

I mounted my Micro-switch on the drivers side behind the seat upside down on the plastic trim near the seat belt retracts into the plastic trim. This way you have no visible wires going to the windscreen and the switch is hidden.

We include 2 screws in the box to replace your factory screws. This allows for the extra 3/8" the acrylic takes up.

Remember guys, we are making a new crossfire gallery. Please send photos of your product installed to get onto our new website...

Thanks.

I couldn't find where in your web site to send pics. Here are few if you're interested.

The plates you see are not real.
