Illuminated Wind Screen

I'm not sure if you have one of our dimmer switches or not. ( u didnt mention that) But if it's ours then there should be 5 wires.
1. Black - goes to the ground wire from LED
2. Black - goes to the ground on Chassy of roadster (make sure it's grounded good.
3. Blue - goes to your brake lamp wire (use a tap in connector)
4. Brown - goes to your running light/head light wire (use a tap in connector)
5. RED - goes to the red/or white wire on LED (positive wire)
This module allows you to adjust the illumination of your brake power and running light power independently. You can turn the 1st **** down and the second **** up, then your product will be set at a certain illumination while head lights are on and then when you apply pressure to your brakes it will produce a brighter illumination. (however bright you desire)
As for the length of wiring. We have ours installed in our console between the seats. There is a hole going through the back of console that we drilled out a bit (just enough for the wiring to fit through.) This makes a convenient place for you to adjust the product. Also, you may need to add a little wire to the ground to find a good spot. (it's different with all roadsters)
I really hope this helps.

Yes, that is helpful information. Thank you.
Any guesses out there what a car/audio place might charge to install? (anybody?)
I'm thinking that's the way to go...
Thanks, Stephen, for your help!

I just attached a cigar lighter adapter to mine. Installed it with the new screws through the "umbrella holder brackets" and five minutes later was ready to go. The wire is hid behind the seat and between the seat and the console and when I drive at night, I plug into the cigar lighter and viola! lighted Windscreen. I also bought extra different color lights and added quick disconnects to the wires so I can change colors from time to time.
That's a great option. I don't mind using my light switch to turn the unit on and off. It's no biggie, but I do love the idea of different light option...ha! I could really get under my husbands "last" nerve with asking him to do this for me.
I happen to have a wonderful husband but he is NOT into mods or cars. They are a mode of transportation only. So, I'm a bit on my own when it comes to my Crossfire. He's happy that I love my car, but he would be just as content if I drove a Pinto, as long as it got me from point A to B. He just doesn't have the interest. So, when I approach him about something to do with my car, her rolls his eyes and says "now what?"...hence the broken part in my trunk...yuck!
So, I am thinking I'll have the dimmer switch put on through a car/audio store and have it installed without worry.
