Well, I have to take it in on Wednesday anyway, so maybe I'll have them look over the tape on the back to make sure.

Lots of other stuff for them to look at too... Any idea what the thin black piece of tape is between the dash and the windshield? I tried to wash the windshield inside and this piece of tape stretching across the whole dash came off.

Same thing happened to mine 2 years ago so I just removed it.

It rained like heck on Thursday when I picked up my roadster and drove it for the first time and it was bone dry...rain was as bad as anything a car wash would throw at it.

FYI the only car that ever saw a car wash of mine was the wife's first mini van.
Attention all drooling male forum members:
Women do not normally wear HIGH HEALS to wash the car! What I see is a loving wife who was game for the hubby's photo shoot. Does she know that thousands of people are looking her um, high heals now?

We only hand wash our XF (without high heals) and yes it is relaxing. That way we can see what is happening to the paint/finish.
