Default Custom exhaust drone

I am interested in hearing from those members that installed after market exhaust systems.

I have cold air, and custom exhaust on our 03 Altima, and at certain RPM's it tends to have a drone sound. I find myself running in a lower gear (autostick) or driving faster in order to tune the sound to my liking.

I recently had a timing sensor replaced which helped but the drone is still present at certain speeds.

I'm wondering if you have experienced this with mods to the crossfire exhaust...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I had the same problem with my first crossfire. I installed magnaflow exhaust on it and I dont think I will do it again. This is the main reason I am afraid to do the resonator delete.

I'm happy I asked....I saw a dragger Muffler on ebay designed for the SLk with square tips.

I had headers and regular dual exhaust on my old 79 vette with the 350 L82 and I loved the sound.

I'm just looking for a subtle throaty sounding exhaust for the Crossfire.

I think I'll be adding headers to my 3.5 Altima...For what it is, it cranks!

Thanks for your input

One more thing....My boys and I kind of pimped moms ride without her direct imput...oops!

Are you aware of an after market insert or something of that nature that can be put into the dragger tail pipes to reinstate a more normal sounding exhaust?
