I will. Thats the only ding in the entire car too.

Definitely go with the Aluminum if you're going to do this. It's a pretty good match for the wheels, windshield surround, front fender strakes and rool hoops and I love the way that silver color contrasts against my Aero Blue paint.

As it turns out is also matches the SSB closely to.
So I installed the 2.5" Aluminum stripes over the original 3" black stripes and got the look I like the best out of all my trials
This is the link to the manufacturer website.

This is the product the member Mike-in-Orange used on his aero blue Crossfire.
They have 35 designs and colors and it comes in 5" wide 36" long sheets and can easily be cut.

Here it is:
This one gets my vote. But I think you need to increase the angle a bit. It's too vertical. IMHO Look at the angle you did the other ones.

No changes were ever made.
The black stripes under the aluminum have never been removed from the original pics.
They are cut and aligned with the door angle.

OK After looking closer, it must be a little camera lense distortion. In the photo, the angle of the stripe closest to the wheel looks steeper than the stripe aligned with the door angle.

I know the single diaganol stripe on a persons driver side fender indicates that he is a rookie driver..........for road course events. I'm just wondering if these types of stripes have some meaning as well.
Thank you. Some of them look kind of neat, but outside of that, is there another reason?

I've got a vinyl sign computer guy making me silver slasher stripes. I'm having them 3 and a quarter wide on a 45 degree angle. They will have a quarter inch spacing between the two stripes. Now the best part>> It will be the AMG logo. The upper part of the front stripe will have the strope blocking 45 degree cutouts. The rear upper part of the rear stripe with have AMG cutout. The passenger side will be flipped. NOT REVERSED. So the strope blocking cutouts will be on the first stripe also. In Short> On both sides the big block will be towards the front with the five blocks sizing down in size to the rear. With AMG being the back stripe on both sides. Now are you confused? I'll be picking them up at the end of the month. Don ///// AMG <Drivers side Passenger side> AMG \\\\\

I think my favorite "slasher stripe" application is on TBirds roadster.
Right above the stripe he has some lettering, I can't remember what it said, but it looked cool. (Like it came from the factory).
Just above the letters is a Karmann emblem.

Here is what I did on my Aero Blue. The black one is Acrispy1.
Added them for him when he was out at the car show here in Jersey this summer.

TBird, now I remember why it looked like it came from the factory. You used the Crossfire "font".
Tony, Yours looks great too!
By the way TBird, I still want those wheels too...I just can afford them.

TBird, those stripes look great! Now I wonder about putting my Karmann badges right onto one of the stripes rather than above the rocker panel......hmmmmm, perhaps some experimentation over the weekend.

And are those Mille Miglia EVO 5 wheels on your car? I had a set of those on another car of mine for a while - nice looking wheel for the Crossfire.

I can make them up for you. Have a couple of different color combo's. I know they look the same in the pics, but they are actually two different color combo's. Have been trying to figure out which combo's look best on each color Crossfire. Always looking for volunteers,

My Aero Blue has a bright silver with a medium graphite pinstripe. Tony is the medium graphite with a dark graphite pinstripe. The lighter combination on the Black Crossfire just didn't look good.

I will probably have the site set something up in the vendor section, but for now, just send me a pm.
