Just bought one like this from Germany...$275 with shipping.

I like the uniqueness of the Windrestrictor. The mesh is nice also but the Windrestrictor gets people to stare and ask where you got it.

Could you tell us where you got it for that price.

I like them both the same. If I was just considering one for the first time, I'm not sure which way I would go.

Holy crap......they must have seen me coming because I just (last week) ordered this one and was under the impression it would cost me $400.00. I hope I'm wrong.

I looked over several German sites and the best price I could find was $179 euros which is about $285 US. It appeared that it did not include shipping. Ship for me was about $100 via Fed-Ex from UK.

Maybe TVT_design should become a distributor in the US.

The German wesitesite selling them for 179EUR (Chrom design) had one on a German ebay auction. No one bid on it...I got it for 131EUR. I had them remove the 19% VAT for overseas shipment...which brought it down to 110 EUR. They quoted me 60EUR shipping which left it at 170EUR or $275. Cliff

Thanks Cliff,

I love this German Well Made Mesh one, it's the look of a True German Roadster, in my mind & it functions best also!

I would have never paid over $500 shipped for it, though.

Good luck with the Prowler.

Hey guys,

I noticed this thread is similar to one I've been posting on.

I purchased the mesh one from a company called Adamesh Ltd. in the UK. Came out to $260ish including shipping.

I posted a full review with pics last night. Hope that helps!

I got the same one from Adamesh and this is a great product. Now is it worth $268 for a small piece of pipe covered in pleather and screen? You be the judge but it is very well made, it looks like factory and installs in minutes. It works well and of course you are not free from all wind but you have a vast difference from without it.

To me it was worth the price because the look is factory and the fit and finish is good. Being a perfectionist yes it is not 100% but in the high 90's.

Thats my .02
