Bluetooth headsets?

Thanks for that, sounds very interesting. I think the boom is the key to overcoming noise when driving with the top down.

I have never found a headset without a boom that worked for me - I obviously couldn't try all of them, but quite a few.

I use the jawbone and have had good luck... Another option for the car is the Garmin c550, a bluetooth enabled GPS. It works really well. They are really cheap on buy.com...between $159-179...

I have the new jawbone and the size and sond quality are great but it doesn't hold on to my ear very well.

Yes, the Jawbone is great, but with the top down it's worthless over about 45mph. A boom mic is almost essential for top down communication - I just can't imagine a visor clip on unit or a GPS device (like the higher end Nuvi units) working all that well with the wind noise present during top down freeway speeds.
