Mpg
I just put about 700 miles driving from Chicago, IL to Lancaster, PA and will be continuing on to Madison, NJ today. Looks like I'm averaging a little less than 23mpg averaging about 75mph...well, more like 22.5mpg but still...
I think that is pretty decent, considering I had two kills on the way...Lexus GS460 and 5.7L GTO... I'll discuss that more later...they both lost.

I seem to average around 25 mpg. I don't drive it to get good mileage. It just happens. I do many short trips around town, and when I'm on the highway, I'm usually above the posted limit. I love the gas mileage you get from the Crossfire. My Dodge Hemi Ram only gets 13 mpg.

Not sure if it works on a roadster though.

I calculate mileage the old fashioned way: miles/gallons after each fill up. Roadster gets about 24-25 mpg in combined town/hwy and an easy 27-29 mpg on the highway (70-75 mph), and once got 31 when I behaved myself and drove 60-70. That has been consistent on three long drives to CT/NY, 800 miles each way.
By comparison, the SRT6 has never gotten better than 24-25 on the highway, but I admit to at least half a dozen high speed runs (~100 mph) for every tank. My son does almost all town driving with his 2007 and gets 18-20 mpg. But he also keeps it in lower gears longer than he should and has a tendency to run right up to lights/stop signs where I will coast in gear and let the engine brake the car.
There's no way the automatic gets better gas mileage if you know how to drive a stick.

Bill,
Bill,
I'm getting consistently 24.5 on my regular commute, which is basically 70 mph traffic in the morning, 60 mph in the evening and stop and go intermixed with just normal suburban driving. haven't had it yet on an extended trip so can't tell how much it would be, but I'm guessing about 30. Great in my book for a car of this caliber. yeah, could maybe eke out another 2 mpg if I kept the wing down on the commute, but i get so much pleasure out of having that darn thing come up at speed that I'm willing to sacrifice it.
Just completed a 880km (+ -550 miles) road trip almost all highway. 115-120 kmph
Caculated about 7.5L/100km. Thats about + - 37 miles per Can.gallon. (+ - 31US.)
This is a little better than advertised for my 05 roadster automatic.
91 Octane.

Generally I use 89, or 91, I've used 87 too and no knock no nothing different to cause me not to use 87, same mileage, seems the same in acceleration. As long as I am not hearing any knock I see no reason to use strictly premium fuel.
