A quick google search of "chrysler crossfire rear window problems" shows that it's pretty much ONLY the 2005 model. the simplest explanation is a factory defect that happened that year with some of the production models, that Chrysler refuses to recognize. Looks like I'm going to be out a few grand :/

If you have an extended warranty won't that cover the issue?

Convertible tops much like brakes or tires are not covered under warranty unless you have a good dealership to work with you. After all these years, it's not going to happen.

I heard too, that Miatas and MB and BMW also have these issues.
