Oil Change
I found a new spot to have my oil changed. I stopped in to a new franchise called "Oil Changers". I spoke to the owner, a young woman who has made the spot quite welcoming for women. I came armed with the type of filter and oil I wanted used for my car. She ordered the oil and I went back 3 days later to have the work done. Not only did they change the oil, they replaced the two small lights in my headlight assembly which had burned out over the summer. I have had to have the dealer replace lamps when they burn out since as you all know, it is a pain in the butt to do this. So I was driving with the annoying warning light on my dash illuminated - all summer!
Oil changes for me have always cost more than the $140.00 I paid at this new spot, so I am now happy.

I'm glad you feel you got a great deal ! 140 bucks for an oil change and two light bulbs !!! Holy moley !!!

It's Canada...the dealer charges over $200 for an oil change. And we have surcharges on oil changes so that we can protect the environment...there is also a 9 dollar surcharge on the type of filter that "Lucy" demands.
