OK...found new feature
Am I the only person on this forum that didn't know that when you use the lock button on the remote the doors and truck lock...and, so does the center console glove box?
I didn't realize that the console glove box even had a lock. But, today while in the car, I hit the lock on the remote (while in the car with the key in the ignition) and locked the doors. Then, while driving I tried to open the console glove box, but it was "stuck" shut. I about broke the cover trying to pry the lid up to get in. I thought that somehow, the glove box door was jammed. Then, I thought surely not...I hit the open on the remote and sure enough the glove box opened normally. It was locked and then unlocked.
Maybe I ought to read the instruction manual?

I noticed that the center console would lock when the top was down. Everytime I would need my wallet or cell phone, the darn center console was locked when the top was down. I believe this lock is controlled by air, or lack of air, (suction), (yellow hose under console). When I swapped my cup holder out for the storage bin, I noticed this hose coming up from the rear of the tunnel running to underneath the center console to something that looked like the locking mechinism. I disconnected the fittings that connect the hoses together to remove the console for the swap, but when I put everything back together, I noticed my center console would not lock, so Iam thinking maybe there is a leak now in the fitting causing the center console not to lock when the top is down, which I don't miss. I would fix it so it stays locked with the top down, but only if I could override this feature so I could open the console when the top is down. Maybe I'm wrong, so please correct me if I am . Thanks.

I can open my console while driving. It only locks when you lock the car with the remote. The door lock automaticly when you are driving but the console does not with the top up or down. When you lock the car with the remote, it locks the doors, console and gas .
I wish it would lock the glovebox as well. I inevitably need a CD or something when I manually lock it when I leave the top down and forget to unlock it when I start the car. Hard to open with no key
