Default any good ideas?

Has anyone come up with an idea to fill the hole in the rear deck lid where the convertable top locks down? With the top down that oblong hole bothers me, there needs to be some sort of filler to clean that up. Any thoughts?

You planning on never putting the top up again?

No, one would need to remember that the plug/cap is in place, and remove it prior to putting the top back up. I just think it needs something.

You could fabricate a rubber or plastic plug but God forbid if you forgot to remove it before putting the top down.

I would usually ponder the KISS stuff first. Hmmmm. I ponder trimming down one of those sheet magnets you slap on the refrigerator, like the little calendars the dang realtors and insurance salesmen send you all the time at Xmas. Trim it to the oblong/oval size and give it a shot of black paint.

The deck lid is metal, isn't it? Hmmmm. Should check this out first, I suppose.
