FP, do you know if the antenna you are using picks up the IPOD FM transmitter any better than the stock??

I feel the love, buddy, and that's why I didn't jump on you for pointing out the fact that my fingers don't always do what my brain tells them too. Sometimes they do though, but then I just end up flipping off some jerk driver, he pulls a gun, and it's a big ol' mess. Why the fingers listen to the brain then but not with "roll hoop" is beyond me.

Thanks FP,

I just sent an email to Karmann. Maybe it will work.

I don't use the Ipod on my radio. So I don't know, but I would assume it would be the same as the OEM.

I have the 16V TVT antenna (the same one that FP has) and am using the medium-length middle section...I have not noticed any difference from the OEM antenna when using my FM transmitter. I'm using the low band (88.3 Mhz) - haven't tried the high band because we have a strong radio station here right around that frequency.

I tried the longer one but my reception was always terrible. AM was unusable because of static and lousy reception with both the OEM and the replacement. There is a TSB about the mount, but it didn't do too much when the dealer fixed it. So, I installed one of these on the windshield. It isn't too noticeable and the reception is unbelievable.

I swapped the one from my '07 Lincoln MKX which is going back from lease in a couple weeks. It is about 10" long and fits perfectly. Reception seems as good if not slightly better and my iphone 3g/Griffen transmitter works fine. I think the Roadster looks much better with the shorter antenna.
