Default rear spoiler

Hi everyone,

Had my xfire roadster a week now and we manually lifter the spoiler with the button inside and now it won't go back down...I've tried the button on the console and it makes a running noise but nothing happening on the spoiler...is there a secret to it or do I have trouble... thanks

I've found that to put mine down, I had to not only push the button, but to hold it for a number of seconds and that in doing so, the spoiler has gone down a bit at a time until it is completely down

On the roadsters, there is ani interlock that manages the trunk, spoiler, and top mechanisms so they dont strike each other. Turn the car off, then back on. Try cycling the top switch for a couple of seconds open, then closed. This actually happened to me the other day and this took care of it.

I had the same thing happen to me for the first time yesterday; it was because the top was not lowered until the "beep" sounded.

Thanks everyone for the replies...we let it sit for about an hour and then went back and used the button on the console and it worked fine....so much to get used to in this car...but I LOVE IT!
