My front bumper has paint peeling on several spots. I bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty. The car has 12,000 miles on it, this is not normal wear and tear for a paint job. Is this something that is normally covered by a warranty?

 

My bet is that paint is not covered, but you need to call your warranty company and ask them the question.

 

When you contact the dealer, please share what they tell you...

 

You should still be covered under your original factory warranty which will cover paint defects.

 

A factory paint job should not peel. Your bumper has most likely been replaced or repainted. Did you buy it new?

 

It sounds like a repaint - factory paint jobs usually only chip.

Which extended warranty did you buy? I'm guessing Max Care?
