Default is it time to sell?

I have been volunteering at our local Bluesfest which is the the biggest in North America next to Chicago. The festival takes place on the extensive grounds of a museum and I have been parking in the underground garage each evening.

Every single time I have returned to my car since the festival started a week ago, there have been people standing admiring my car. Last night, I had to get in and drive off even though a woman was still asking me questions...I was tired from my shift and wanted to go home. I think hearing Ice Cube up close wore me out.....

Needless to say, I have had a few offers to buy and I am starting to wonder.

well, if the offers are good enough to make a profit and then turn around and buy another if you want that then I would say sell it! depends on how many miles, and all of that of course. and how much you love it by itself ansd is it worthwhile to sell it and say darned i wish I hadn't. I do believe it's going to be a classic someday. I plan on keeping mine for a long time because first and foremost i love this car, and would be really sorry to see it go, but to sell it cheap and then have it escalate someday, like my old Chevelle and Nova SS qould kill me dead for the third time! You'll just have to go with what you feel best, but the good news is that more people are interested in your ride!

Are you sure they were not hitting on the driver?

Hey, put a price out there and see if you get any interest. You don't have anything to loose...except the fun of your Xfire!

I just got my Roadster 10 days ago, and have experienced this already!

For me, it will be time to sell ONLY IF I become tired of maintenance issues or something like that. At this point, I can't imagine not having her in the garage - NEVER have I enjoyed any motor vehilce like this one.

Reading the threads here about maintenance problems DOES scare me a little, but at this point, I cannot conceive of the idea of selling her... I am trying to sit on a small "car only" savings account for upkeep. My engine/powertrain warranty has three years left on it, and federal emissions has four years - so much of expensive stuff is covered!
