Default rear latching prblems

We purchased a 2005 Crossfire a few days ago the rear latch for the top will not lock. I have looked and do not see any leaks, everything looks greased good and there is nothing in it's way. To get it to latch I have just pushed gently on it and it clicks after that the button will finish snugging it up just fine. There are no problems opending it, but there is a bit of a click. Looing at the locking portion it looks as if it's wearing a bit so I tried to adjust move the lock a bit so it would not hit it but that did not make any difference. Is there any other adjustments I can do or is this something I have to take to the dealer.

Thanks in advance...

Jason

This is not unheard of in the roadster - just a matter of an adjustment. If you feel like trying it yourself, download the service manual - do a search on this forum. Othewise, it's a pretty simple job for the dealer and shouldn't cost much.
