Are you KIDDING ME? I went up to Union City, GA and drove a Roadster earlier this month.

The sales guy was REALLY nice but didn't know the first thing about the car. Now, granted, it was a Chevy dealership - but even the guys at Hayes Chrysler where I got mine knew little about the car, other than to say, "Chrysler REALLY messed up the marketing of this car..

It IS their job to show you the car, I agree. But an out-of-production, limited production, used car? I don't expect them to know TOO much.

There is SO much about these cars that is technological (that is - software based) that it is hard to know it all.

I have read my manual cover to cover once - can't say it did too much good. Just this week (yesterday in fact) I finally learned how to check the oil using the trick with the instrument panel button and ignition key. I had read it in the manual, but somehow didn't remember it being something that you could do anytime you wanted to - I thought the indication only came up when the computer wanted to notify you.

Give yourself time! I have found all the little secrets to be a fun way to "rediscover" my car on an ongoing basis.

If all else fails, just do a search here for what you are looking for - if that doesn't work, just ask.

(Real sorry you had to settle for a White one - life sucks sometimes, doesn't it? )

I had read up on the car and all the features before we went and purchased our roadster. When we finished the paperwork they had a lady (mid-upper 20's) walk us out to the car and her job was to show us how everything worked on the car. Long story short... I ended up explaining to her what the majority of the buttons did... and this was at a Chrysler dealer.

She told me I should see about getting a job selling cars because I was good at explaining everything.

No thanks.

If she isn't 30, she's not a lady - she's a GIRL.

And I am NOT being sarcastic or insulting. I'm just being old.

Mine was built on Pearl Harbor day, Dec 7, 2007. It must be one of the last convertibles.
Is there a site to buy stuff for a Crossfire? Just like cool stuff? Ron

There are plenty of sites. I recommend that you use the forum's search feature and I'm sure you will find enough reading to keep you busy for quite a while.
