Roll Bars
These should be a direct fit for our cars, right?

im not sure if its a direct fit but i have seen threads were members have installed them. please remember that this has been discussed before any rollbars used should be tuv approved. many are cheaper and may not protect you in case of a rollover. i know the threads posted there have been some who think the rollbars are merely cosmetic but why risk it? tuv certificate is the only way to know that the bars used will protect you.
FP, I have a set if you want to see if you can have them fitted...pay me later...and since our heads are above the bars that are on here...I don't see what it matters approved or not...the windshield is...better duck big time when you invert one of these.....lol
I seem to remember something about the tube diameter being larger on the Mercedes bars vs. the ones used on the Crossfire.
I could be wrong though. Try to PM MI1XFIRE......he installed the mercedes hoops in his Coupe, he can probably give you the outer diameter if you asked really nice.

As I remember back, it seems that while these will fit in the coupe, which is what I used in mine, they will not fit the roadsters. Something about how they seat in the roadster is different. Give ol docs a try though, no harm, no foul.
FP, All,
I really like these bars and was wondering if there was any definitive answer as to wheter they'll fit the Roadster ? All previous installs (I believe) were for the Coupe and required cutting, a template, etc.

FP- Why not chrome your OEM's like I did. I've had them two years now and still look like the day I installed them. I think the cost was around $100.00. Do a search I have a thread on who did it and how to remove and install them.
