Default Leaking problem

The passenger side floor board of my '05 Roadster is getting soaked whenever it rains...even during periods of light drizzle. I'm concerned that my floor board is going to start rusting. It took two bath towels to get the carpet dried out after the last rain event! The water seems to be dripping out of the dash. The car only has 7,600 miles so I took it in to the dealer last month. The service department said there is an A/C condensation drain pan inside the dash that also collects rain water. They said there is a flap that is supposed to open and drain out the water/condensation but the flap had gotten stuck from not being driven enough so all the water was overflowing into the car. Obviously the dealer didn't fix the problem...it's worse than ever. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Default Re: Leaking problem

This came from onehundredeighty.

Take a look.

Of course they have had this happen before, thats why there is a search feature on this forum. I typed "water leak' and came up with 5 pages, not all relevant but on page 2 this came up.

Read this as well.

Just a hint, you have a roadster but all you questions do not have to be in the roadster forum. Many people will not read it as this forum is for roadster specific questions all others are posted in the coupe forum, or the specific forum that covers that topic. Read the forum headings and the small print.
Search first and then ask questions as so many answers have been made to the same old questions.
Last but not least;
Welcome to the forum.
