Default Two Years of Crossfire Ownership

Well, today marks the two year anniversary of Crossfire ownership. I have to say that I am still as excited now as I was then about this little car. I cannot say this for any other vehicle that i have owned.

I like mine just as much as any Camaro, or Vette I have owned...

It's safely tucked in the garage this week due to snow. Just a light coating of dust right now.

How fast you had it up to Itsky?

Not fast enough unfortunately. I think 114 is the fastest so far (two lane road out in the middle of nowhere in Kansas) while passing some vehicles.

I wonder if the thinner (less wind resistance) air in higher elevations offsets the decreased oxygen content (HP max) to any degree?

26 months (38,000 miles)

13 months (3,800 miles)

Probably not enough to overcome the lack of oxygen.

Indeed, Itsky...and a fine looking automobile is it!

I wholeheartedly agree with you and I have to say that driving either car is as exciting today as it was the first time I drove one. Who'da thought?

Congrat Itsky, aren't anniversaries great with these cars? I've got one coming up in just over a month from now.

You know this is a great community when other members know the anniversary of when you bought your Crossfire

I am on my fifth year in my SE Roadster. I have nurtured it, protected it and installed leather power seats, modified the grille, installed wood grain on the silver console. and added a wind restrictor. Modified tune to my driving style. Above all it is free of corrosion anywhere. Under car, door wells, engine compartment, boot lid and bonnet. Not a scratch on the paint. Replaced battery. No one has put a wrench on it but me. It's mine forever. Salute, Gary

Belated congrats, Itsky!

BC and I hope to help you ramp up many more happy miles this summer.

Lil Starshine and I had our 1st year anniversary in October. Despite our rough start, I hope for many more years, miles and smiles with her too.
