Headin to Florida Friday in my Dakota(helping snowbird mom return home,sold their place)will be honkin at all the XF's I see along the way.Stopping overnight in SC.

 

Have a great trip but I don't know how much honking you will be doing since we just drove roundtrip Tampa to Miami Beach and saw 0 Crossfires! We did get to take some great pictures of our Crossfire in front of the Art Deco buildings on South Beach. The deco designed Crossfire looked right at home.

I promised my son I'd take him to FSU in March, second or third week, and I'm torn between the old reliable A6 in case of bad weather or bringing the Roadster out of storage for a 2000+ mile drive. She's been parked in the garage since November, but I just went out and started her for the first time in 3 months and she fired right up. So tempting. It would be a little MI to Tallahassee to New Orleans and back to MI run in 5 days. I guess I'll be studying the weather when March roles around. I so miss driving with the top down. Not the same with the A6 sunroof open in below freezing weather!

 

Overnighted in Greenville,SC,went all the way to Bradenton and back,did not see any XF's until last gas stop on the way home in Carlisle PA coming out of McDonalds.A blue Roadster just like mine.All told 2,854 miles.
