Service Rip Off
Recently purchased a 2005 XF Limited Rdstr and just had the oil changed at $99.99. The dealer service rep then advised I needed engine intake air filters and a cabin air filter and they would be glad to do it for $179.00 + tax. I declined and replaced them all for for less than one third that price. Easy job less than a half hour labor for all. Next time I'll change the oil....I enjoy the XF more each day..

Congrats on the purchase of your new Crossfire and welcome to the forum. You should consider joining us at the Tail of The Dragon meet in mid April. If you can make it you will have a great time.
Welcome to the forum. $99.00 oil change from the dealer isn't that bad, the filters on the other hand is high. I get it done from Avis Quick Lube for $89.00 I average around 4,000mi. a year so I only get 1 oil change a year.

Gotta be careful...a Valvoline instant oil change place quoted me 89.95 for an oil and filter change..then i found out they were not using the correct oil. I declined and will do it myself this weekend.........
As others have said, $99 is a great price for the oil change. Keep in mind, the dealer's profit center is his garage. Always expect them to try to sell you extra "goodies".
welcome ,,, lets see 8 qt of Moble 1 @ $8.95 per qt. = $71.60,, oil filter $15.95 labor for 1 hour $69.00,, woops you better go back you still owe $57.55 Oh checking all the fluids and adding if needed ,, windowsheild fluid $1.00, air in tires included in labor yea you got a great deal ,, in a shop i go to they charge $90.00 for oil change on a crossfire.
