We are looking for an effective windscreen, that fits the XF styling and a reasonable budget.

Windscreen ordered out of England but comes from Germany, landed in Canada was about 300.00 CDN
Had to do a little addition as it came too close to the headrest. Now fits perfectly, the only wind now is a little on the extreme outside of the headrest. Cannot see how the Plexiglas center one does the complete job as the full width screen mesh.

Do it right and pay the price.

Lovin it already.
Sounds like MINE. Only mine is on when the parking lights come on. I've been stopped twice by the PO-PO's for vision obstruction. Twice I showed the PO-PO that the light is LED and dims when while light (head lights) shine upon it. I'm no more "VISION OBSTRUCTED" then any elevated rear Break Light would cause. Had to convince one officer that RED was OK to use "as long as it was not blinking - indications of an emergency vehicle " I read up on it for Alabama state law BEFORE I installed it with this functionality.

I am confused by this thread. Which is better. mesh or "glass" ? Seems like both have been bashed.

Bought the mesh from Adamesh. A little expensive but very satisfied with the job it does.
Really cuts down on cabin turbulence and normal conversation is not a problem.

Hey oceanside,
What color is your XF? It looks just like mine and I haven't been able to find the color code try as I may.

DC'XFire sure likes hers, and it goes with the Black&White theme she is doing on her XFire. It did take a while to get here from Adamesh because of the havoc on shipping caused by the volcano.

PS- If you order, don't forget to ask for the "Forum" discount. We got a rebate of $40.00 on ours.

Question Re: Wind Screen Deflector

I realize this thread has a bit of age on it, so perhaps everyone has moved on to other things, I'm looking to try one of the MESH wind deflectors from MB, as I like the OEM look. However, I have a couple questions if someone can help:

I've not been able to determine a MB part number. Partially because, I'm not certain what model years I should be looking at...is the 2005 SLK320 the only compatible year or a broader range of model years?

I've found one on eBay. Doesn't look the same in the image provided however, who knows.

Does anyone have an MB part number or perhaps an idea how I can narrow my search?

TIA,

I have had one almost identical, they are made in Germany for MB. I paid out of England almost 300.00 delivered. You have a great deal.
Still get wind from each side at back but it is a great improvement.
