Proud Crossfire Owner
Yesterday morning was beautiful here in Olathe, KS (a suburb of Kansas City)… sunny and 80-degrees. While shopping at the local Advance Auto Parts store, the manager began asking customers who owned the Crossfire (2008 Blaze Red Roadster w/ 15K miles) parked out front. My stomach started to knot up thinking someone had backed into it (this recently happened to my daughter’s car while parked at DQ).
When I told him it was mine, he began to rave about it and offered to buy it on the spot! I told him that it wasn’t for sale (I’ve had it for just eight months). He insisted on buying it and began to tell customers that this was going to be his new car. He insisted that I take his name and number in case I do sell it one day.
I have to admit that it felt good to see my car get the attention. After taking pictures of it to show his girlfriend, he took me inside showed me the best wax to use on “his” car.

By the way, what wax did he recommend?
Two Crossfires... great idea! I imagine my neighbors would probably complain about all the cars in the driveway, though. We have six cars stacked up in the garage a driveway when the kids are home from college. Our homeowners association will not allow us to park cars on the street overnight.
BTW, he recommended Meguiar's Gold Class Carneuba Plus.

Hey Wildcat, I live out by the Legends (KCK)...did you get the kind of rain we got on Sunday? My wife pushed a bucket out of the garage about 30 minutes after it started raining.....an hour later there was > 5 inches of water in the bucket!!!
By the way 2 XFs is the way to go!

Last week, I pulled into the local gas station. I was in the store, waiting in line, and I heard a fella ask another clerk: "Do you own that beautiful car out there?"
After I took care of business, I walked out and the fella was still sitting in his car. As I walked toward my car, he said: "Man, that's a beautiful car!"
I thanked him and he said: "That is gorgeous!" As he drove off slowly, I could see him shaking his head and he just kept repeating: "Gorgeous!"
A lady from Overland Park owned my baby before me. She took great care of it.

Every Man A Wildcat! I don't mind the Buffs bailing out of the Big 12, but I have to say that I'm really disappointed that the Huskers bailed out, too.
