Top's plastic bottom retainer broken
I have a 2006 roadster and the hard plastic strip at the bottom of the convertible top is breaking up. I took it to the dealer and their solution is to replace the top!!! $1800 for the part and it will have to go to an upholstery shop for the repair work.
If I could remove the top, it looks like a new plastic strip could be sewn on and the top reinstalled.
Anyone else had this problem? Did you find a solution?
