Got it!!!
Got it!!!
We went and looked at the 2006 Limited Roadster with 17,200 on the clock. Nice car, not perfect but really nice. The only issue is rim rash, I will look into getting the rims fixed at some point, the closest places are Chicago and St. Loiue it looks like. Was hoping to find a place in downstate IL that did wheel repair, oh well no big rush. My wife is very happy, she got her low mileage roaster in the nice dark red color with auto trans , a very nice car. Mark one off her bucket list!!! We pick it up Wed afternoon. The price came way down after we sat down and talked about it, the owners were nice and practical about the wheels etc, no other issues to speak off, paint had no chips or scratches , I'd rate it 4.6 out of 5, overall rate at least that high, if the wheels were fixed it would be closer to 4.85. To be honest I would not want a 5 star car, it can do nothing but go down, she will drive the car so this one is perfect, once it snows the cover goes on and it rests all Winter.
We are happy, she got her dream car so I'll be doing more than lurking around here, asking dumb questions etc. I need to search the care section and see what to use on the rag top and the best polish to use etc. I just read part of one sticky about using polish. I have an orbital waxer so while she is away next week maybe I can give it a super detail job to surprise her. Thanks again for the questions that have been answered here already.

Re: Got it!!!
Congratulations JoeR, Great that you two got the car you wanted. And a great price no doubt! After a year and a half with ours, we're still excited and enjoying it. Although I wanted a Roadster and she wanted a Coupe. Guess which one we have. Although the srt6 version was my idea. Compromises you know.

They are beyond DIY, they would need pro TLC. I did read that section here already, thanks. It was perfect weather today to bring it home, probably not many top down days left though.
