Red '07 Roadster Ltd or Aero Blue SRT-6???

One thing I can tell you is that SE's are slow sellers in comparison the the Limited and the base models. When you look at relative value, the SE doesn't offer many upgrades from the base, and it surely is missing a lot when compared to the Limited. I actually prefer the cloth seats in the SE, and I like the color and the wheels, so at the right price I think it is a good choice.
Remember, it's pretty darn cold in Minnesota right now. That dealer would probably prefer to have $15,500 in the bank right now, rather than waiting until May for a higher number.

Anyone who has experienced a serious event with their Crossieand an isuranceagent will tell you theNADA values are way way off.
Wholesale price separation from Retail is large because the Crossie doesn't move well. In the end the dealer will sell the car for a profit over costs. Costs which add up every month hisfloorplan must pay for that 2 seat roadster in his inventory.
By next spring the appeal of the car may increase but so will his investment in the car. Right now he likely has less than $13K in the SE.
DEwards $15K is a good offer.
Assuming and extrapolating from what Rudy was asking for the car here on the Forum, the SRT is likely tighter. I'll SWAG it at more like $15K or $16K
If the SRT went for $17 you would have braggin rights the buy of the decade under your butt.
It's winter and real buyers are scarcer in MN than conservatives.
Go in low and serious.

Thanks for all of your opinions, I've been talking with my brother about your thoughts. Since both cars are at different dealerships, but under the same umbrella, they told him they were going to bring them together tomorrow (Monday) so he can see them side-by-side.
I'll let you know which he chooses.
Does anyone know what Rudy did with the AMG wheels? According to his post, he left them on the car, but now it has the SRT wheels on it.

IMHO, the SE is a base model with SRT6 rims. I've seen several at dealerships and in various parking lots and they are no big deal. I did not notice anything special about the rim color but will look closer next time.
