I got to see a black xf with the DARKSLATE/COOL VANILLA interior! WOW...... Also seen the CLASSIC YELLOW PEARL COAT. WOW AGAIN..... Anyone on the group has the DARK SLATE /COOL VANILLA interior? DC did a great job on the intereior of this car.

 

No not seen it. Mine is all dark interior. I didn't want the two tone dash that comes with the two tone leather. I prefer the dark colour. Each to their own though.

Does anyone know interchangable the interior is :?: It might be nice to be able to change the inside like the Smart panels :idea:

 

As you can see in my pic below the glovebox is the same colour as the dash with the single tone interior. I just finished cleaning my car for the first time, however as soon as I put the hose away it started raining!! Grrrr.

 

Washed my car on Friday night, and its just rained ever since :cry:

I'm going to be driving from Staines back to Basingstoke in the next hour. Can barely see anything for the rain.

I noticed last night that if you don't turn the wipers on (when it rains really heavily) that you get a clear film of water that you can actually see though clearly. Any new droplets just disperse into the water film and the excess flows over the roof.

 

Dunno if it's available over that side of the pond, but over here we can get a product called 'Rain-X'. Two coats on the windscreen and get up to about 35-40 MPH and little need for wipers at all. The rain just beads on impact (heavier rain beads quicker than misting rain) and immediately rolls right off, and just as clear as if wipers were running.

 

Yup, we can get it over here. I wasn't sure if it was any good or not so I've not got any yet.

 

 

ooo. that is truly horrible! Not to my taste anyway. That would be a nightmare to keep the white leather clean.

 

it's vanilla but yeah still a pain... it also does not go with yellow...

 

That yellow is YUK!

The Vanilla/Slate looks decent, but for sure not with the yellow. Maybe on the Blue it would look much better.

 

The (vanilla flavor int.) looks like that show PIMP my ride!!!
