so i have a 2005 crossfire roadster and recently when i put the top down the left wing that is supposed to flip up and snap into place on the body is staying down and i have to manually lift it up and then the back piece will come down and click into place. when i put the top back up it goes back down into place and works fine its just when i put it down i run into the problem. anything will help! thanks!

 

I beleive those flaps are spring loaded to go out and pulled in when the top is up. check the springs on it to make sure nothing is caught or maybe a little lubricant might help.

 

thanks i will try lubricant it looks like its a small cable that pushes the flap up and then the wire pulls back in to bring it back down. its just the pushing out the wire isnt doing for some reason.

 

The flaps operate by cable I had one of mine break before and had to have it replaced . check and make sure it just hasn't slipped . with the boot up in the air look at the cable on the side that wont go down... good luck
