Default Top will not retract

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place in or around Houston, Tx to adjust a new top so it will retract? I had it replaced by Ron Carter Chrysler in Alvin, Tx because the rear window fell out. They told me the top couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. They had the car for about 6 months but couldn't make it work properly. I finally got tired of waiting and now I have a new $2700 top that will not go down. HELP!!!!

Well we probably need to start with what is working in the "top down" sequence.. or is this "nothing works".. as in unlatching the top and the windows don't even drop..

And FYI.. the rear glass falling out is repairable.. just not by Chrysler.. they make their money in selling you a new one.

This sickens me. The top fabric/glass assembly costs around $700, and here in Georgia, they mark it up to around $1200 and add $800 labor to arrive at $1900 to $2000.

And I thought $2000 was unreasonable.

I'd BET you they screwed up the wiring between the "top open" switch and the divider switch - but based on such little information, that is just a guess. As Miata said, tell us SPECIFICALLY what happens when you unlatch the top from the frame and you hit the button.

We can go from there.

WOW . . . You've been a member here since 2008 and you didn't know to stay away from the Chrysler Stealerships?? They got into your wallet pretty good (which is what they do best). Any reputable upholstery shop could have installed a brand new quality top on your Crossfire for $1500.00 or less AND had it done in one day. Mine was less than $1300.00 . . .

You should go back and have a little chat with Ron Carter Chrysler . . . Sorry for your troubles.
