Window Switch Drivers side
The drivers side window switch was pushed into the console by one of my children. Can anyone explain how to remove the console cover to repair this issue? I do not want to pry and cause more damage.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Jim,
If your car is an automatic:
You can use the smooth side of a credit card or plastic wedge to gently pry up on the narrow silver border (shifter bezel ring which is about 1/2" wide by 3" by 5" rectangular piece). It is held in by four tabs (two on each end) be sure to lift straight up. You may/may not need to remove the slotted shifter gate cover but if you do it also lifts straight upward the same way. Now you can lift up the coverpiece that has the window switches mounted in it. You should be able to easily remount the window switch as it snaps/clips back into position from below.
