I opened the top just enough to clean under the cover. After 20 minutes or so the cover can down on the back window. I upped the cover back up in my panic. Now top will not go up or down and top button red light is blinking. Cover has since come back down. The top was only opened a little so I can still latch it closed. HELP!

I should mention that I have misplaced the owners manual.

 

After using the top reset procedure 4 or 5 times and depressing the top up and down button there was beeping as I pressed the button and then the top went down.

I found the reset procedure on this forum. My thanks to whomever documented the reset.
