Roadster luggage set???
I obtained an original build sheet on my "new" roadster and it showed the touring set was included with the car when new. I would like to have a set for collector purposes, of course, but also for occasional usage.
I have searched this forum and now realize how rare they are. I can probably never find an original set but I see a knockoff on Ebay. The picture shows three bags in the trunk of a roadster behind the partition. These look like they would satisfy my usage requirements if they fit as shown.
Anybody familiar with this set?
Thanks for any responses,

Yes they come up on Ebay every once and a while. I expect by now they are getting pretty pricey BUT if this car is being keep for a collection, etc. I would say they are perhaps worth the price. If I remember they at one time sold for around $199 for the set. In all honesty they are NOT very useful in a roadster. They are not really custom made like the plder sets in the Mercedes, Bugotti, etc.
They were only given with a certain year. Maybe 2005 I'm not sure on that number? Someone will chime in with the correct years and also give their idea of the worth and dollar value.

The 3 piece set on eBay is more functional for the Roadster.

The OEM set is better fit for the coupe. The OEM sets were sold on eBay for around $200. The guy had many many sets but are now long gone. I would say average price now on eBay is around $400 for the complete set.

Concur I have that identical set for the roadster when I travel over a weekend etc. But I will say that one of the modern duffle bag luggage does a good job length wise in the roadster also.

Here you will find pictures of the original luggage set that came with our Crossfires. The wheeled carry on has customized the n/a xfire wheels. The website also includes the original luggage registration information.

Nice find. I am glad to see you are preserving the luggage.
When I take the roadster on a trip, I am looking to put the top down so you can see with half the room in my roadster verus the "huge" amount in my coupe. Most of that luggage will not fit. Especially if I carry the normal complement of spare parts and tools for emergency repairs since almost no one on the road has experierience with the ordinary stuff like CPS, etc.

Last time I saw any was 2-3 years ago when a guy in Ohio bought up the remaining stock. I was lucky to get a regular and an SRT6 set from him for $149/each. Then they went up to $200; then they were gone. I use the luggage I received when I bought my roadster. The SRT6 set and the other set (which I gave to my son) are in a closet, never used. It's like having two 401ks.
For the real touring gear limited set, try about
$300 now if you can find them and about $400 for the SRT set
no difference except the higher priced has the SRT6 logo
attached
The secret to using the original is not to pack the wheeled pc more than about 1/2 full this will allow it to fit under the convertible top when down
and then the other two pcs fit nicely in front even if fairly well stuffed
Start out with the top down if not its very easy for the top encasement to be disengaged from the electrical connection and not allow the top to open and close

LOL....
or maybe I'm confusing the luggage with a couple of old bags.
I have a 2006 and never knew about the luggage set until a few weeks after I took delivery and it appeared on my porch from Chrysler. I never had reason to use it as I never travel with that much luggage.
