Default New member with a 2005 Roadster

Found mine in Landcaster,WI. WOW WHAT A GREAT CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got mine on FEB 24th, and have now 890 more miles on it!!!!!!!!!! I JUST LOVE THIS THING!!!!! should have not hesitated for so long to get one. I wanted one when they came out in 2004/05 but could not justfy the sicker price, had to hope. I have MANY cars/motorcycles but could not get myself to sell any one of them, to get the Crossfire new!!! I am glad I held out for the 6sp roadster! I was air-born yesterday with the car off the line!!! Will never do that one ever in the future ever!! But what fun it was! had the guy next to me with a shocked look on his face. When I was out looking for one(crossfire) I used this sight to help with info on the cars and buy one. Thanks for the help guys/gals. Found a 2005 6sp limited, grafite/charcoal non-navigation. THANKS FROM NW-IL.

Congratulations on your purchase. I can tell by your comments already that a bad case of "perma-grin" has got you in its grasp!! Fortunately, you're in great company as we all have it!!

And as you indicated, this Forum is great for keeping up with repairs, mods, and just about anything else that's related to the XFire.

Enjoy!!!

Sounds like you have my car's twin. Yep, the original sticker was steep but it was worth getting it new. Would you share price and mileage so we can either rejoice or feel depressed?? What do you mean by air-born? If you were able to pull the front wheels in the air from a standing start, you're making more hp than even my SRT6!!

Yes Goldwing, That is right from the stop light, had the front wheels of the ground!!! What hapend is I had the radio on and had the volume up, so I could not hear the revs and just pushed it to much. Had it at 4900+ rpm at 60mph(the spoiler-wing was up!!) in 3rd in about 200ft!! give or take the foot thing. was not trying to do this for I am still getting a feal for the car. I had some jack*** up my but for 5 miles and could not take the HUGE SUV UP MY BUTT!!! I was getting a bad fealling about them, just had to get-away from them. MY xfire has 58,000 and was under $15.000. I don't talk price about cars/motorcycles any more,( the ones that I do have) if that is ok with you guys. I have a 1930 G-GL 90 Jordan ( this is a car)with 45,678 miles, a 1951 Chrysler Sartoga(331-hemi) 65,901 miles, a 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook 89,000 miles, a 1956 Packard 45,098 miles, a 1953 Packard, a 1925 Chrysler model 60-4dr 65,908 miles, a 2000 Chevy z24 cavalier convert 170,000 miles, a 1992 Dodge turbo 3500 truck Looks like new with get this 300,000+++ miles on it, a 1975 Dodge Dart 71,153 miles (now for sale!!) that is the cars. The motorcycles a 1971 Honda CB 500--4 34,907 miles, a 1973 Honda CB 350 twin 1,456 miles!!, a 1975 Honda CB 500 twin 34,987 miles, A 1955 Norton 56,983 miles, a 1979 Honda hobitt ?? on the miles. a 1988 Honda Shadow 1100cc 45,631 miles. I do ALL THE WORK ON THIS STUFF MY SELF!! and I built my 2nd house my self, Well about 89% my self. As you all can see I like the old stuff. Anything 1955 or newer is a used car to me,That is when everybody went to the12volt system.
