Guys, excuse my ignorance on this one...

I am looking to purchase a Dash Mat in Right Hand Drive form for my Crossfire. Unfortunately every company I have tried does not make them (not economically viable to low build numbers).

However, I did find a Company that makes them for 1997-2004 Mercedes SLK's. I have never had the opportunity to physically compare both dashboard for sizes etc, but I am guessing that the actual SLK Dashboard is the same as that of the Crossfires?

Yep, in size and shape they are the same. I don't see any reason why a dashboard mat for an SLK wouldn't fit.

 

Thanks buddy! I think I take a chance and I will buy an SLK Dashmat, if it doesn't fit, I will post on here to advise everyone else..

 

Well they're not exactly the same but I think a "mat" that lays on top should fit.

You are talking about those carpeted mats that they make to protect your dashboard from the sun, aren't you?

 

Is there a cutout for the pull-out cupholder?

 

The only one he can find is supposed to be for an SLK, so I'm guessing the cover just doesn't come down that far Max.

 

Yep, I can only find a dashmat that sits on top of the dashboard.. I have spoken to the Dashmat company and they are making one up..
