clutch noise
newby here , just purchased 60,000 mile roadster , i bough the car very cheap due to a knocking noise on the engine ,the guy i bought it from was told it needed a replacement engine by some cowboy repairers ,which it certainly does not. The knocking noise goes away whren the clutch pedal is pushed down . From my experience with other vehicles this points to the dual mass flywheel , can anyone point me in the direction of a non franchise uk supplier or wiil i have to sell the grandchildren to pay for the flywheel.
The car will run for many more miles with the current flywheel but its just an annoying noise , apart from this its a great car to drive with the hood down especially with our marvellous uk weather
