I have a friend in Houston that is looking to buy a xf Roadster in Florida. The car is a black roadsterwith 44,315 miles on the clock. the car is located in RoyalPalm, Fl 33411 at Royal Palm Toyota. They are asking $10.988 at present. ID # is 1c3an65l35xo29927. Does anyone know this car? Is there anyone that lives close to Royal Palm that could look it over. Look for rear window separation, rust, rough treatment, oil leaks, body damage, etc. Give it a drive, let us know about tires vibrations, noices,etc.

This seems to be two different cars at the same price, Red dog is another 60 miles south of me and 110 miles south of #2.

Yeah I had pulled up the map and noticed it was 1 1-2 to 2 hours from Reddog... but his trip home from the dragon might take him real close to it. Doesn't help for a weekend score though.

22k mileage difference in the two.. but you get the red cedar interior... which IMO looks really sharp with the black.. and it's a little more in the neighborhood for them.

 

Foresure it is two cars. Love the Cedar interior. The one at Toyota dealer is much lower miles.

I would appreciate anyone that can take a look either this weekend or early next week to let me know. He really wants an automatic, as I think he plans on his grandson getting the car eventually.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I wish we could find one in Houston at that price!!

 

Hi David, Just got back to Fontana Village . . . another B E A U T I F U L day with the Crossfire and many new friends. We're leaving here tomorrow morning. We would be happy to check out the Crossfire at Royal Palm Toyota. Expect to be coming through that area Tuesday early afternoon.

Just an FYI - I checked out this '05 Roadster . . . It is in T E R R I B L E condition! The whole car has been repainted and it looks like they used spray cans! I've really never seen a re-paint this bad. Lots of orange peel and many hazy areas. Obvious damage to the front bumper that was not repaired properly before painting over the damage. Cracking through the paint that looks like a dry lake bed! Missing radio antenna. Big dent in the panel above the trunk lid. After market chrome wheels are badly pitted. Some inner fender type pieces were laying loose in the trunk. Upper and right windshield surround moldings were off with the upper one missing completely (not sure what happened there because those were in place when the dealer photos were taken).

This car is a "rat" that needs LOTS of work . . . I didn't bother to drive it . . .

 

The mileage and price didn't seem "right".. guess that explains why.. There's always that Amarillo one if someone could check it out.. Price and mileage are "right" for a decent car.

 

I have my 05 Roadster for sale here in Sarasota. It is black with the red cedar interior and is in mint/immaculate condition. Has auto trans and just turning 23,000 miles. I saw a georgous gray coupe, six speed, 60ish K miles at a dealer in Durham NC. they have mostley MB on the lot. Nice car, I wish I could trade my 130K roadster for it!
