First blood
well as some of you know, the crossfire inside door pulls can become delaminated and the material is as sharp as a razor.my wife took a friend out for lunch and as her friend pulled the door to close it the back side of the pull was delaminated and the tip of their finger slid over it and put a nasty gash in their finger to the point that they wondered if it needed stitches, well it was decided that they would use super glue which worked great on the wound. my wife demanded that i fix the handle right away, which of course i did .here is a photo of the finished handle IMG_0964.jpg
Looks great with the red interior.
I'm guessing the process is to remove the door panel to remove the door pull.
Haven't been in there for a few years.
You DID take pictures, right???

Nice fix!
You have to remove the door pull to pull the panel. The flat piece closest to you on the door pull pops off, then there are 2 bolts on each end that come out.

i got the carbon fiber vinyl wrap at pep boys it comes in carbon fiber silver or black and also just plain metallic silver.just like sk8erjosh says its actually fairly easy and a heat gun makes it form better. i did take off as much of the loose laminate that i could then just covered the rest.
