Default My pussycat's not well.

One of my cat's has not been well the last 2 or 3 days and we took him to the vet yesterday after he was sick and brought up blood.
We took him back to the vet today as he still wan't well and they took him in and took blood samples.
He is anemic and got a really low red blood cell count.
They have put him on a drip and giving him injections to try and reproduce more red blood cells.
I miss him already as he lies on my head every night.
Here's a couple of pictures of him he is a cream Persian.

And here he is with his brother.

Please pray for him as he is so lovely.

I hope your pet gets better. I know it's hard on you while they're ill.

It is hard with animals because they cannot tell you what feels wrong.

He's in the best place though if not feeling well (as much as you want him home) so they can do a thorough diagnosis.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for your kitty Norrie.

Had to collect him today and take him to our own vet as it was the emergency one he was at.
They have taken more blood samples and put him on a drip again.
There not sure what's wrong with him so they are keeping him in again tonight.
If the red blood cell count gets any worse they will need to give him a blood transfusion.
I'm glad he is insured as I dread to think how much it's going to cost.
It's cost over £300 already.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

Had to take him to the animal hospital today to have an ultrasound done.
Got a thickened stomach wall at one point which could mean a number of things.
He will get an endoscopy in the morning and a biopsy done to see what it is and we will just have to hope for the best.
We saw a Professor which is good and she really knew what she was on about.
Been told it's going to cost anthing between £1000 to £2000 depending on what they have to do and that's on top of over £300 already.
Because he is over ten there is a £60 excess and then we have to pay 35% of the bill so we could be looking at £800/$1600 plus excess.
