Default power drivers seat doesn't work when going forward

Ive owned the 2005 crossfire limited for a few months now and noticed that the drivers power seat will sometimes not work when I try to go forward. Well this morning it completely stopped working when trying to go forward. All other functions work when it comes to the seat movement. . Back... up...down...but does not work when you try to go forward. Any ideas on what I should try to fix this issues?

Talk is that an old battery, or poor battery connections will cause weird things to happen. You might start with cleaning the connections first.

Default found issue

I was messing with the wiring under the seat to see if I may have a loose wire...but nope... no loose
wire but did find out I wasn't getting power to the wire that controlled the forward motion of the seat. I did a little swapping on the wires and bingo... the seat now goes forward. So.. looks like my seat switch is at fault. I found one online for around $50 but I will call the dealer tomorrow to see if they come close (which I doubt ) to the price and if they do... and they have it in stock looks like Ill be doing a switch swap this weekend.
