I kinda car savvy buy not with this one. dodge broke it off in me for 200. just for a diagnostic. any advice and info be greatly appreciated. thank yal
Re: help with control module
Going to the dealer was a BIG mistake and an estimated $300 for labor to install a new ($300) RCM is just plain robbery.
The RCM can be rebuilt with $10 relays and re soldered easily.
Come here for the cheap fixes in future.
Re: help with control module
Received RCM Thursday. Went over the solder joints and performed the Me So Horny mod. Took it and the mailer envelope out to my car to test your RCM before mailing it. My car would not start!!!!
Did additional troubleshooting and found that the coil in your fuel relay was bad so the fuel pump was not working. Ordered a replacement relay which arrived yesterday. Installed it and vaaaarooooom! She alive!
RCM mailed back out yesterday afternoon.
Saved ya $300 and I got my beer!
