Hello all, I have just purchased a 2004 crossfire coupe. There was a problem with the dome light fade out ( it did not work relying on the 15 minute time out) and the rear courtesy light not coming on when the tailgate was lifted. on inspection I found the micro switch faulty. Also on consulting the wiring diagram, there was no earth. With some modification I fitted a micro switch ,added an earth wire and now the fade out works and the rear courtesy light is functioning. there are 2 wires going to a 2 wire connection plug, this fitted into a 3 wire plug on the micro switch circuit, the earth(negative) from the micro switch went to this plug with no other connection to complete the circuit, has this been missed out in manufacture, or some one may have deleted it?.
