Default Unsafe Car

i was driving down the road, and there was a truck blocking the road.

i stopped fully, and changed the auto tranny to R (revese)

the car didnt move.

i changed it back to drive, it didnt move.

restarted the car, and the tranny worked.

How long have you had the car? Is this the first problem you've had with it?

Did you take it to the Dealer? I've got over 15k with no transmission problems whatsoever.

Wow, that's a real bummer. Maybe you and Bullseye should have a Crossfire bonfire.

Next time, just hit the truck and you will never notice any transmission problems.

Exclamation Re: Actual TSB!!!

Okay guys... take a chill.... I found the actual TSB that caused Epyon's problem!

Problem: 2004 & 2005 Chrysler Crossfire transmission gets scared
Cause: Quick deceleration or large obstacle in path of vehicle
Resolution: Reset vehicle

Note: Reassure owner that problem is unlikely to happen a second time because the automatic transmission "learns" the drivers habits and hey if he's not afraid of that big truck, then why should the car be!

Okay.. seriously it might have helped if you didn't call your car (which I might clarify is the same as my car) a piece of crap just because of one single incident.

Suggested post:
I was driving along and had to make a quick stop because of a truck blocking the road. When I put it into reverse nothing happened. I couldn't go forward or backwards. I turned the car off and restarted it and it was fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

Edit: notice the lack of POC comment.

Good luck on the forums....

Gotta see where he is coming from, He is driving a 40k car and it breaks down with less than 5k, I'd call it a pos too. I don't care what it is.

Engine Stumble

Has Anyone Had An "engine Stumble" Problem ? My '04 Xfire Sometimes

Stumbled, Loped Or The Engine Seemed To Want To Stall But Never Really Died

When I Stopped At A Red Light Or Stop Sign .when I Took It Back To The Dealer

They Couldn't Find Anything Wrong With It And Suggested I Run The Middle

Grade Gas Instead Of Premium Gas. I Live 5000 Feet Above Sea Level In New

Mexico. The Middle Grade Gas Helped, But It Stilled Stumble Occasionally.

Now The Dealer Tells Me To Run The Lowest Grade Chevron Gas, 86%, And

They Gave Me A Bottle Of Injector Cleaner.

This Was Yesterday , Now I'm Just Testing It And Waiting To See If This

Solves The Problem. Any Comments Or Sugestions ? Thanx.

I'd check air filters and the air box to see if they're clean and see if it's connected (the air intake) at the back of the airbox cover. I don't see why lower grade fuel would be better? How many miles are on your car? What year is it? Auto?

just people on this forum are so prideful of their car. say one thing wrong about it, and it is armagedon.

many are just hateful on this forum.

when one does pay over 40k for a car, one can at least expect the tranny to work.

hell even honda's tranny that have 300k on them work fine.

just people dont want to admit that there are somethings wrong with the car, cause they have heard so much of it.

Hey Dan,
My Blk.xfire Coupe Is A 2004,automatic, Only One Month Old With About A Thousand Miles On It. I Bought It New At A Dealer In December 04.
I Put That Little Bottle Of Injector Cleaner That The Dealer Gave Me In The Tank And Filled It Up With Chevron 86 Octane And It The Engine Stumbled Once At A Red Light During A 30 Minute Cruse.
This Car Is New, I'm Going To Go Back To The Dealer Tomorrow And ***** 'bout It.

You probably do not appriciate much of anything.
One burp and you say the total car is "a piece of crap"
You are just a spoiled punk
