Have you bought yet? If so, this will not do you much good.....I just bought the exact car you are talking about (2004 leftover though) NEW for $19,995. go to Davesmith.com (Kellogg, Idaho). They had a lot full of 2005's they would be more than willing to deal on. Ask for Glenn (NOT me --- my salesman's name was the same as mine....)

i saw an ad in my local newspaper through "Ricart"...the 2nd largest dealer in the country.

Ricart's discount off of remaining 04's is only $8,500.

i can't believe some dealers are offering these larger discounts...especially 11.5k off an 05'.

sales were up 17% in Feb 2005 against sales of 2004...but only up 3% against March 2005...sales may be slowing...so keep an eye out...also Chrysler sold 36,000 300m's and only 3,100 Crossfires year to date March 2005...10 to 1 ratio ...WOW.

Aren't we the lucky one's, Chrysler planned to sell just 20,000 Crossfire units a year worldwide, seems to me that they are on target...
When all else fails lie back and enjoy... had another wild experience, driving along a dual carriageway this morning the car next to me waves frantically, so I roll down the window, he yells at me as we continue to travel at 45 mph, what is it... I shout back.. "Chrysler" he has a puzzled look on his face and replies " Chrysler ????" ....by now I had left him..

Wow! I can't believe what I'm reading in here. The best I've been able to get from my local dealers (southeastern VA) is $497/month for 39 months, $1,000 down + first payment. This is for the 2005 Crossfire Roadster Limited with dvd, autostick, two tone seat and ASP tires. MSRP is $41,500. The lease stated above includes the 2k in incentives. I sent several dealers the following lease deal. $1,000 down, $400 a month for 39 months and so far it isn't working.

Very disappointing as the Black Roadster is the sweetest looking car this side of an SL AMG. The only thing missing is a Hemi. This car NEEDS a hemi...bad.

It's getting more and more difficult to resist the temptation.

Well, I finally went and picked up the car. Had to drive to another state to get a deal, but it was worth it.

2005 X-fire Roadster Limited.

$440/month for 39 months, 15,000 miles per year.

$1,000 down + first monthly payment.

Apparently, the cars are selling well in the SE Va area and I could not find a deal locally. Had to go to NC to find a "fair" deal.

Anywho, happy hunting!

We just got an '05 Limited Roadster in Alabaster with the cream and black interior. BEAUTIFUL CAR!

Anyway, the dealers are pretty motivated right now and we got ours for $32,800 with the 5 speed automatic. Also got a better deal on our trade in than we were going to get on most other cars we were looking at (we even got the crossfire luggage in the mail a couple of weeks later ... nice touch). We love the car and have no regrets about price or model choice.

good luck!

Cool Re: How much did everyone pay, i don't wanna get screwed?

Purchased my Roadster Limited for cash in August 2004, paid $41,000.00. The price included all taxes, fees and extended warranty. The Roadsters were still new to the market and dealers were not dealing at all.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, this was the best buying experience I ever had on a new vehicle.

Good Luck !
Na... CarMAX is a rip off. There's no haggling so you end up paying more for their sticker price than if you haggled down at a regular dealer. They also give you a lot less for your trade in than anywhere else. Shopped there and didn't buy. Total rip off.

Carmax makes you think your getting a good deal, but in reality, they rip you off while making you feel good. Their trade in appraisals are such a scam!!!

CarMax is horrible!

Just bought a new leftover '05 base roadster for $27,400. I was really happy with the deal. They must be really trying to get rid of them.

Yup, beat them up pretty good. There are a few located in Santa Cruz that I would guess you can purchase at around the same cost. They are in blue sapphire.
