How much did everyone pay, i don't wanna get screwed?
Hello Everyone,
Im new to the site and desperately want an alabaster Limited Crossfire Roadster Automatic Transmission. I've been to the dealer but would like to get an idea of what the final price was on some other peoples cars before i go around getting into the battle of pricing with the dealer. Any and all information useful.

Well most of the members here have been on for some time. During that time Chrysler have dropped the price a few times so I'm sure you will get a better deal than the rest of us.
I bought mine because someone on this site suggested that I try CARMAX.
In late October, 04 I bought a "limited" 04 automatic coupe from them, (they has 2 '04's left and one was my color) for 25,000 and some change. This was over $9,000 under MSRP and $4,000 less than the best deal I could get at a dealer.
I rented a U-Haul trailer and went across the state to pick it up. You could even fly into the town and drive it home to save big $
Check them out on the web. @ www.carmax.com.
At the risk of sounding like a commercial, this was the best buying experience I ever had on a new vehicle.
Good Luck !

I just got mine three weeks ago on 1-17-05. It is a Blue limited roadster autostick. I got mine for 37,000 plus 2000 off with rebates, total price was 35,000. I think I could have done a little better because when I offered that they said yes right away! However went to another dealer in town and it was a diff story. They tried to rip me off and charge me 37,000 after rebates. If you have several dealers in your area, I would call each one up to see who would get you a better deal. Make sure you shop around!! Good luck and let us know if you end up getting it. All I can say is WOW great car and everyone at work is jealous! HE HE HE.
Thanks Guys, well Im planning to buy a 2005 Limited White Roadster (automatic) for sure, Hopefully It'll be happening within the next few weeks, thanks for the feed back. I'll be sure to let everyone know when i finally get it. And I'll be letting all of u know if i got anymore questions. Thanks for the help and the prompt response from everyone. I look forward to truly becoming one of you soon.

I paid $36,300...which included the $2,000 rebate. I went to several different dealerships in the area, played them off one another, etc. And that was the best I got.
One of the other dealers quoted $35,800, but when I asked about destination charges, plates, etc., they stopped getting back to me. So, I suspect it wasn't included in the price (it was in the $36,300), which means that that dealer would actually have been more expensive in the end.
Just got it three weeks ago...Aero blue LTD roadster, automatic.
Also checked edmunds.com to see what others in the area were paying. If it was accurate, I did well. Either way, like I said, I felt okay about it since I did negotiate at a couple different dealers. (And did most of it via e-mail so they never knew they were dealing with a woman, which I think helped a lot.)
ETA--I'm in northern NJ.

Let's see, Sticker was $37,330, they put $35,830 on the papers, to save me sales tax, then subtracted the $2500. So, the bottom line was $33,330 for an 05 Limited, with everything, including the GPS/NAV radio. They were actually very nice to deal with. I had been e-mailing with their internet sales person for a few weeks. I went in on Saturday monring and drove several cars, taking one home. My wife and I drove it around, at their suggestion, went to lunch and I took her home. I went back and bought the one in Aero Blue instead of the Red one I was driving. They also gave me $2000 more for my trade in then Pontiac was going to give me on a GTO, and my trade in was a Pontiac. Go figure. They had 04's for $26+ and were trying to move them, but no pressure.
i'm over here in fort myers, i paid 27,500 last april at a place called plattners in Labelle. it would be about a two hour drive for you but maybe worth the savings. they advertise to have the cheapest prices in florida and i believe them. if you call ask for chick gerter. a simple suggestion thiugh. no matter where you buy do it on the last day of the month. new car sales is a highly incentive laden industry, on the last day of the month they are trying to make quotas, they may be willing to lose money on one sale if it means they will make dramaticaly more in incentives. secondly stand firm, dont show your eagerness and be willing to walk away. remember they want to sell you the car more than you want to by it. make them play on your playing field. good luck, and let me know how it turns out

I have the exact car you are looking for. Alabaster Roadster ltd. autostick with everything except the GPS. Bought it when they first came out last summer and they had the friends and family deal. Supposedly got the employee discount. After Taxes, lisence, destination, everything, it was $40,000. I'm sure you can get a better deal these days.
You won't be sorry, it's a great looking car! Good luck!
