No feathers ruffled here. The reason I got this was because I am 5'11 and just about under the size limit of headrest thus putting me in the position of getting a huge amount of air flow coming through between the roll bars. This constant pounding in my right ear was very uncomfortable when driving at freeway speeds but not to bad on surface streets. Secondly it was impossible to talk on the phone using my Bluetooth headset without the Windscreen and just tolerable (for the person on the other end ) with it.

That's my $0.02 concerning this...

My brother in-law and I both bought factory windscreens for our Crossfire and they really do work well. We are especially happy at top speeds. We installed with screws and expandable anchors instead of rivet. Holding so far. We like the looks.

I absolutely love my MOPAR windscreen. Installed it shortly after purchase at the end of April '05 and have enjoyed a summer and early fall of top down cruising on my 40+ mile daily commute on U.S. 23! The windscreen really helps on those cooler days, in addition to reducing the whip to hair and ears.

If you follow the link to the top he has been touting many times, you will notices that a Jay SENOFF (aSENOFF) is the guy you send the check to. If you are going to tout your own business as great you ought to at least be up front about it.

Thumbs up Re: Roadster Wind Blocker

Nice new product for Crossfire Roadster. No "straps" or noise, just a fine product that you can be proud of. Material is thick and double sided abrasive resistant. Very high quality. You can chose a custom etching or a simple crossfire logo for yourself. No need to remove the product at all. Comes with a simple on and off switch option for illumination. Click below and see what you think!!!

Apparently I was wrong...
it must be to be in a big bubble so you can see the sun easily...
I'm with you. Did you ever drive a jeep with the windshield folded down like Mr. Kimball on "Green Acres"? I always wanted to try that...

It's not how you get "there"...It's how you look once you arrive...(and in a Crossfire as an accessory!)

I bought the DC windscreen when it became available - the one that fits between the loops and fastens with velcro. I did NOT screw the lower guide into the car. No way did I want permanent holes. It occasionally squeaks but I simply remove it and wax the loops, and the noise goes away. Be careful to clean it with a soft lintfree cloth and use some Armor-All to remove any swirls.

It does reduce the wind somewhat but does not eliminate it entirely from blowing on the back of your neck. It seems to come in through the loops and blows around the seatback. But it is less than without the deflector.

Nice product. I think the one thing that would have made this perfect would have been a power wind screen that you could bring it down like a power window.

I do like the fact that the one I presently have blocks the roll bar area and truly is a wind blocker. For you guys, the extra wind is no big deal..but the hair strands in the lip gloss can be such a "downer"! Still giving the illumination screen some thoughts. Any chance we could see more pictures? The website has a few, but I'd like to see the view from the driver's seat. Any view obstruction with the logo? Secondly, how are the lights attached or what is the technology with these? Are they built into the screen or attached? It's hard to tell from the pics.

Inquiry minds want to know!

I'll try to snap some more pics this weekend and post them, drivers view in the rear view mirror so you can see. Can't say as I have the hair issue to contend with, so not much to offer there.

The LEDS are a small thin strip applied to the bottom and held in place by sort of an L shaped plastic channel that is taped on, I'll get a pic of that as well. It works well with the set up. I added a thin black foam strip to block some of the light coming directly into the cockpit and to give the center console top something soft to hit. It will be easier to see in pics rather than text.

Thanks, Scott...that would be great. I'd especially be interested since your car is similar to mine.

Thanks for your help and taking the time to share pics with us. I bet it looks great!
